Job summary

Dairy Maid Dairy, Inc. is seeking a truck/tractor driver to move and park trailers in yard and dock areas to support shipping and receiving. You will operate wash bay when needed, keep the yard neat, and perform pre/post trip inspections per DFA and DOT policies.

Responsibilities include trailer movement, docking, log maintenance, and occasional over-the-road routes. Requires a current CDL Class A and knowledge of DOT rules; shifts Tue–Sat 4pm–12am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A license current in residence state.
• Tanker endorsement if required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements and DFA Motor Vehicle Record standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver trailers and tractors to support shipping and receiving.
• Hook, unhook and position trucks around dock and service areas.
• Spot loaded/unloaded trailers at assigned dock spaces.
• Maintain accurate trailer and inventory movement logs.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure area sanitation and cleanliness; wash exterior of trucks when needed.
• Complete sales route deliveries and over-the-road routes as required.
• Adhere to DFA Quality, Safety, DOT and GMP policies; report incidents.
