Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to/from loading docks and park trailers in designated areas in a safe, DOT-compliant manner. The role involves communicating with customers and co-workers and performing related duties to support the company’s distribution operations.

The position offers pay of $18/hr during training and $20/hr after training, with shifts starting Sunday 1:00pm and Monday-Thursday 2:00pm until finished.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of Yard Hostler/Switching experience preferred.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and move trailers safely following DOT regulations and company policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to docks.
• Tractor trailers will be moved around the facility; no city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times.
