Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution seeks a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks and park trailers in designated areas. Local city driving to offsite maintenance and inspections may be required, all under DOT rules and safety policies.

Shifts run Sunday through Thursday, 10am to finish, averaging 8–10 hours. Compensation includes $22.50 per hour plus incentive per trailer move and a comprehensive benefits package on day one.

Qualifications

• 6 months of tractor trailer experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all state licensing requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards.
• Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.
• Handle and return paperwork related to offsite maintenance/inspections.
• Ensure tractors, trailers, and freight are secured.
• Keep tractor/loading dock areas clean and organized.
• Secure equipment and complete paperwork at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
