Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials and tank endorsements.* Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under 391 FMC regulations.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations and perform daily pre-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies and verify documentation.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or problems to dispatch.
• Load and unload freight as required and comply with regulations.
