NEW Cooperative in Iowa seeks a dedicated truck driver to move grain and related products using hopper trailers and various equipment. This role requires safe driving, adherence to DOT and company safety policies, and accurate logkeeping.

You will perform daily inspections, coordinate with location staff, and assist in other areas as needed. The position may require extended hours during busy seasons and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Formación

• Must have Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• Must pass a DOT physical every 2 years at minimum as required by law.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Able to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Drives trucks to move grain with hopper and other products using various trailer types.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and NEW Cooperative safety programs and policies.
• Complete driving logs and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform and document daily truck/trailer inspections.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and operate vehicles safely.
• Assist in other areas of the location and work extended hours during busy season.
