Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc is seeking a Class A CDL driver to move grain and other products at our Iowa location. You will operate hopper trailers, adhere to DOT/OSHA safety standards, and support customers during peak seasons.

Applicants must have a CDL A with tanker and HazMat endorsements, pass a DOT physical, and be able to read safety manuals. NEW Cooperative offers a referral bonus program and opportunities for professional growth in a farmer-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• DOT physical every 2 years at minimum.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Seasonal time commitment and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to move grain and other products with hopper and various trailers to designated locations.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and NEW Cooperative safety programs and policies.
• Perform and document daily truck/trailer inspections; schedule repairs as needed.
• Keep work area and equipment neat, clean, and well maintained to present a positive image.
• Work extended hours as needed during busy seasons to ensure good customer service.
