NEW Cooperative, Inc in Iowa seeks a dedicated CDL driver to move grain and other products between locations. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure daily logs are accurate.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork. You’ll work extended hours during busy seasons and must read safety manuals and follow DOT regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred; DOT physical every two years; HS diploma or GED.

Formación

• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• DOT physical required every 2 years per regulations.
• HS diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; interact with customers at all levels.
• Seasonal time commitments in the farm supply business.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Good problem solving and understanding of operational processes.

Responsabilidades

• Drives trucks to move grain with hopper and other products to designated locations.
• Complies with DOT, OSHA, and NEW Cooperative safety programs and policies.
• Performs and documents daily truck/trailer inspections and maintenance.
• Assists in other areas of the location as needed and works extended hours in busy season.
