FedEx Freight is seeking a CDL driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers in Georgia. You will operate tractor-trailers (including doubles/triples where applicable) and perform pre-trip inspections.

Responsibilities include securing freight, completing documentation, and communicating with dispatch and customers. A class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements is required, plus DOT qualifications and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Competenze

• Must possess a class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements.
• One year of recent driving experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have an acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT FMC regulations 391 requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Mansioni

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations (including doubles/triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Secure freight in trailers with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding pickups/deliveries and additional business leads.
• Provide internal and external customer service and teamwork.
