American Driver is actively hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers in Van Buren, Fort Smith, and surrounding River Valley area to join a structured Paid Mentor Program. You’ll train in a late-model fleet with guaranteed weekly pay during mentorship and a clear path to solo earnings.

Expect a 12 days out / 2 days home OTR schedule from the Van Buren/Fort Smith area, with equipment like late-model Kenworth or Freightliner and 70% drop-&-hook freight.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Graduate of a CDL program (120+ hours) or under 6 months of recent OTR experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 4–6 week paid mentorship with a professional mentor.
• Move to full solo mileage rates after mentorship completion.
• Receive guaranteed weekly pay throughout the training period.
• Orientation includes $300 paid; transportation and hotel accommodations are covered.

We are actively hiring entry-level CDL-A drivers in Van Buren, Fort Smith, and the surrounding River Valley area to join our structured Paid Mentor Program. We provide the training, assigned modern equipment, and guaranteed weekly pay to get you safely on the road to solo earnings.

THE TRAINING PROGRAM

EQUIPMENT & FREIGHT

• Your Assigned Truck: Late-model (2022 or newer) Kenworth or Freightliner with automatic transmission and APU.

• 100% No-Touch Freight: Dry van loads, roughly 70% drop-and-hook.
• 2,200 to 2,800 miles per week average on established routes East of I-35.

SCHEDULE

• 12 Days Out / 2 Days Home: Consistent OTR schedule originating out of the Van Buren/Fort Smith area.
