McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Driver Trainee Component in Sidney, OH. You will learn essential functions of the Driver role, including accurate distribution to customer locations and exposure to warehouse operations during development into a full driver.

The position emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and customer service as you train under a Driver Trainer, gaining regulatory knowledge and practical driving skills. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Ability and willingness to load/unload and/or deliver all products.
• Read, write, and understand English at work level.
• Safely drive a tractor-trailer and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect equipment and submit DOT inspection report.
• Document delivery receipts and product temperatures.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer sites.
• Provide on-time delivery and handling of credits as needed.
