Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Ohio to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empty trailers to the Distribution Center. This full-time role operates on a 2nd shift and requires a valid CDL-A, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, and adherence to safety and DOT regulations.

You will inspect equipment, secure cargo, maintain logs, and may handle line haul or backhaul as needed. Competitive biweekly pay and comprehensive benefits start from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Secure product inside the trailer to prevent damage.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
