Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver. You will haul trailers of waste, recyclables, and leachate, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensure loads are securely tied down.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL and offers a path with diverse, hands-on responsibilities. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork, with a schedule from 5:00am to 7:00pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Map reading and navigation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage routes.
• Strong written and spoken English for safety and instructions.
• Customer service orientation when interacting with clients.
• Basic knowledge of truck mechanics and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck safely per regulations and company policies to ensure timely trailer pickup and delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Visually inspect load securement.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers.
• Load bales into 53ft trailers using skid steer and ramps when needed.
• Log bale counts and daily stops using a phone app.
• Operate heavy equipment to load trailers when needed.
• Assist Roll Off line of business by operating Roll Off truck as needed.
• Haul leachate as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
