Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Wellston, OH is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to haul waste, recyclables, and leachate to designated sites. The role requires a valid Class A CDL (Tanker Endorsement preferred), strong map-reading, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 2 years CDL truck driving experience preferred.

• A valid Class A CDL is required (Tanker Endorsement preferred).
• Experience on a skid steer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies to ensure timely and efficient pickup of trailers and delivery to designated destination.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Visually inspect proper load securement.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.
• Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers to provide excellent customer service.
• Utilize an app to log bale counts and number of stops each day; operate heavy equipment to load trailers.
• Assist Roll Off line of business by operating Roll Off truck as needed.
• Haul leachate as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
