Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Mansfield, OH is seeking a safety‑minded CDL driver to service commercial customers on assigned routes. You will operate front‑load trucks, perform pre/post‑trip inspections, and maintain route sheets while delivering reliable waste and recycling services.

Qualifications include a valid Class B CDL, a DOT medical card, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Excellent driving skills and professional communication with customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Must be able to read a map or use navigation systems.
• Must be able to travel between offices and work flexible hours (nights/weekends).

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks on routes safely providing trash or recycling removal.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR logs.
• Keep truck cab clean.
• Inspect front load containers for safe dumping.
• Clean around containers after service.
• Open/secure service gates for customers.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Service 100–150 commercial customers per day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
