Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Dayton, OH is seeking a CDL-B truck driver to provide safe trash and recycling removal on assigned routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate routes, and interact professionally with customers.

The role requires good map reading, strong driving skills, and compliance with DOT safety standards. Eligible applicants must have a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and be able to work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior CDL truck driving experience preferred.
• Front Load truck driving experience preferred.
• Waste industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets and logs.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
