Job summary

Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking dedicated and professional Over-the-Road CDL A Tanker Drivers to transport liquid bulk materials across the country.

This role involves extended time on the road, typically 7+ consecutive days, with home time that can be planned based on operational needs and driver preferences. You will perform long-haul deliveries, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations, load and unload tanker equipment with hoses and pumps, and maintain thorough trip

Qualifications

• CDL A license with Tanker Endorsement (N) required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire (assistance available).
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older; clean MVR and strong safety record.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-haul routes safely delivering bulk liquids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Load and unload tanker equipment with hoses and pumps per safety protocols.
• Maintain thorough trip records and incident reports for compliance.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries.
