Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking dedicated Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL A Tanker Drivers to safely transport liquid bulk materials across the country.

This role requires extended time on the road, typically 7+ consecutive days, with home time that can be planned based on operational needs and driver preferences. This position offers the flexibility to maximize earnings while ensuring the highest safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, within 90 days.
• TWIC card preferred, or obtained after hire.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR with a strong safety record.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Long-haul driving across multiple regions delivering bulk liquid.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Safely load/unload tanker with hoses and pumps, following safety protocols.
• Maintain trip logs, inspections, and incident records.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations for hazardous materials.
• Support steady mileage and workload for operational efficiency.
