Job summary

Altom Transport is seeking dedicated and professional Over The Road CDL A Owner Operator Tanker Drivers to safely transport liquid bulk materials across the country. This role requires extended time on the road, typically 7+ consecutive days, with home time that can be planned based on operational needs and driver preferences.

This position offers the flexibility to maximize earnings while ensuring the highest safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A and tanker endorsement.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred with 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record.

Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Hauling chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while adhering to DOT regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring your truck meets inspection standards and stays in top condition.
• Loading & Unloading: Following proper procedures for ISO/Flexi-Bag or Tanker operations.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintaining logs and submitting paperwork; Hazmat compliance.
• Customer Service: Representing Altom Transport professionally at locations.
• Business Management: Managing fuel, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
• Maintain a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements; 24/7 availability as needed.
