Job summary

Ambipar Response seeks a CDL A Supervisor to lead a small team of technicians and drivers in environmental services, hazardous and non-hazardous waste cleanup, and emergency spill response. You will ensure safety, compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies while guiding field staff.

The role requires managing on-call deployments, coordinating resources for scheduled and emergency work, overseeing equipment readiness, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in environmental services or hazmat.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
• Ability to pass DOT and Hazmat physical.
• Experience supervising field operations outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a small team of technicians and drivers performing environmental services and spill response.
• Provides leadership while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Manages on-call response, schedules, and deployments with travel as needed.
• Ensures safe operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks and equipment.
• Leads by example in physically demanding fieldwork and proper PPE use.
• Maintains documentation: job reports, vehicle logs, timekeeping, and incident reports.
• Supports regulatory compliance and safety training for staff.
