Job summary

Ambipar Response Texas, LLC is seeking a CDL A Supervisor to lead a team performing industrial cleaning, environmental services, and emergency spill response. The role requires strong safety leadership, documentation, and regulatory compliance, with travel up to 50%.

The position is onsite with a standard schedule and potential overtime to meet project demands. A Class A CDL and Hazmat credentials are required, along with OSHA/HAZWOPER and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in environmental services, hazmat response, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Valid Class A CDL required with an acceptable driving record.
• Thorough knowledge of all federal, state and local guidelines (OSHA, CDPHE, CDH, DSHS).
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.
• Ability to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
• Experience working outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Detail orientated with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities when interacting with customers, regulators, direct reports, and managers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Exposure to hazardous materials and high-risk environments requiring strict adherence to safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Supervises a small team of technicians and drivers performing industrial cleaning, environmental services, and emergency spill response.
• Provides leadership, mentorship, and support to field staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manages on-call response operations, coordinating resources for scheduled and emergency deployments, including overtime and travel.
• Ensures safe operation of equipment and vehicles; oversees preventive maintenance and reporting of defects.
• Assists with safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vacuum trucks and equipment.
• Leads by example by performing physically demanding fieldwork and ensuring use of PPE.
• Conducts safety briefings and ensures training is up-to-date.
• Monitors housekeeping standards across offices, yards, warehouses, and vehicles.
• Creates and submits required documentation such as reports, logs, and project docs.
• Complies with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements; performs other duties as assigned.
