Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Huntsville, AL seeks a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to operating locations and deliver full trailers to yard sites. You will operate a tandem/tractor trailer on regional routes, adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

The position requires a valid CDL A with a Doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, and a clean 3-year MVR. Night schedule is Sun-Thu, with competitive pay and benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Inspect tractor/truck and trailer and report safety issues promptly.
• Drive/transport empty and full trailers on intrastate and interstate routes.
• Complete required route paperwork and daily HOS records.
• Hook/unhook, secure freight, and maintain clean, orderly trailers.
