Job summary

Performance Food Group in the United States is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and return to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and reliable communication with the operations team.

You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to DOT regulations and company guidelines to ensure safe, timely deliveries and accurate paperwork throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect tractor/trailer and report safety issues.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Maintain required route paperwork for dispatch.
• Complete daily records of hours of service.
• Keep trailers clean and secure; unload as needed.
