Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport trailers between warehouse locations and domicile/shuttle yards, operating intrastate and interstate routes. You will perform safety inspections, drive in a DOT-compliant manner, and communicate with customers and team members to ensure timely deliveries.

The position requires a valid CDL-A with doubles endorsement, 21+ years old, and a DOT Health Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A with doubles endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain one.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test.
• Capable of lifting 10–90 lb and handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspections of tractor/truck and trailer for safety standards.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes.
• Hook/unhook per safety guidelines.
• Maintain required route paperwork and logs.
• Unloads and secures freight in trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractors and loading docks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
