Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You'll operate tandem/tractor/trailer on intrastate/interstate routes, following DOT rules and company safety standards.

Responsibilities include safety checks, securing freight, route adherence, and completing required paperwork. Benefits and sign-on bonus highlight the company’s commitment to its employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent is required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure freight and trailer integrity.
• Drive and deliver trailers per the predetermined route schedule.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs as required by DOT and company.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tractor, dock area, and trailers.
