Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to our warehouse locations and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT rules and safety standards.

This role requires 12 months of trucking experience, a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, and must be 21+. Work is Sunday–Thursday with a 4pm–6pm start; annual pay ranges from $68,000 to $73,000 plus

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Inspects and secures freight in trailers.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Handles paperwork and returns damaged goods as required.
