Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Wisconsin to deliver full trailers to domiciles and return empties to the distribution center. The role requires a valid CDL-A, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and be able to safely operate commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English well enough to follow instructions safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects before and after trips and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Ensure cargo is secured inside the trailer to prevent damage.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations (Manual or PeopleNet).
• May perform line haul or backhaul duties as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and protect products.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
