Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empties to the distribution center. You will inspect the rig, secure product, and maintain logs per DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and operations.
• Meets McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul when needed.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products.
