Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empties to the distribution center. This role emphasizes safety, reliable execution, and adherence to DOT regulations.

You will be responsible for securing loads, logging trips, and potentially performing line haul tasks. Ideal candidates are 21+, hold a CDL-A, and have 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Must read, write, and understand English well enough to perform tasks and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver logs (Manual or PeopleNet) per DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
