Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to the domicile and return empty trailers to the distribution center. The role emphasizes safety, accurate DOT logs, and secure cargo handling.

Requirements include 21+ years old, a valid CDL-A, 1 year or 50,000 miles driving experience, and English proficiency. Pay ranges from $2,300 to $3,000 biweekly with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Reads, writes, and understands English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
