Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to domiciles and bring empties back to the distribution center. The role offers strong compensation, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, securing cargo, and maintaining logs in DOT-compliant systems. Eligible candidates should be 21+, hold a CDL-A, and have driving experience with solid MVR standings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL-A.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Must meet MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Ensure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• May at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
