Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring Shuttle Driver to deliver full trailers to domiciles and return empties to the distribution center. You’ll work with a safety-first team and be home regularly.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a CDL-A, have at least 1 year (50,000 miles) of tractor-trailer driving experience, and meet McLane's MVR requirements. English literacy and DOT-compliant logs required. Excellent pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read/write English; DOT inspection reporting and logs.
• Meet McLane MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Secure product inside the trailer to prevent damage.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and product damage.
• Other duties as assigned.
