Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Local Class A CDL Shuttle Driver to be home daily in Texas. You will safely transport loaded trailers between the branch and shuttle locations, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain on-time deliveries while upholding DOT and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Must have Double/Triple endorsements and meet DOT requirements.
• Good driving record with limited moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Experience operating tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
• Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles per DOT and company rules.
• Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate issues or delays to management promptly.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers and vendors.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
