Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver to transport loaded trailers between branches and shuttle locations.

You will operate Class A vehicles, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain on-time delivery and pickup schedules while adhering to DOT and company policies. Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL with 1 year of experience, possess double/triple endorsements, and maintain a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have Double/Triple endorsements.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year experience.
• DOT qualified and able to meet all DOT requirements. Good driving record with no more than one moving violation within the past three years.
• At least One Year Of Commercial Driving Experience Preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Ability to safely operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
• Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while following all DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and fellow team members.
