Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport loaded trailers between branches and shuttle locations. The role requires a Class A CDL with doubles/triples and adherence to DOT regulations, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with double/triple endorsements required.
• DOT medical qualification and ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in 3 years.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• HS diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Ability to operate tractors with 28', 36', and 48' trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers from the branch to designated shuttle locations.
• Return empty trailers to the branch for reloading.
• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles per DOT and company regulations.
• Maintain scheduled delivery and pickup times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate any issues, delays, or safety concerns to management.
• Represent Ben E. Keith professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
