Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support our logistics operations. You will transport empty trailers to our yard locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, in compliance with DOT regulations.

This role requires operating tandem, tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes. Candidates must have a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, be 21+, pass drug and road tests, maintain a clean MVR, and be able to lift up to 90

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card and ability to secure one.
• Lifts and handles freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure trailers and freight.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Drive and deliver trailers on assigned routes.
• Conduct hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Log hours of service daily as required.
• Maintain clean tractor, dock area, and trailers.
