Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Texas is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers and deliver full loads to domicile/shuttle yards, following DOT rules and safety procedures. The role requires operating tandem, tractor or straight trucks on intrastate routes.

The position offers a base pay of $60,000 to $70,000 per year, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a 2-week Temple, TX training program, and comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Valid DOT medical card and clean MVR.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sun–Thu nights).
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Experience in safe trailer operations and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer and ensure DOT compliance.
• Inspects freight and secures loads.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule.
• Complete daily hours-of-service documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and yard spaces.
• Follow DOT and company safety guidelines.
