Job summary

Performance Food Group in Abilene, TX is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers between warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, complying with DOT regulations.

You will perform safety checks, drive tractor/trailer configurations, and maintain accurate logs while supporting a safe, efficient distribution operation. Training in Temple, TX with a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must have clean MVR and be 21+ years old.
• DOT Health Card and ability to obtain as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer per DOT rules.
• Drive and deliver trailers on intrastate/interstate routes.
• Maintain route paperwork and logs per federal and company standards.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally and timely.
