Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers for a Monday–Friday schedule with a 2:00 AM dispatch. The role involves touch freight, mixed pallets, and hand truck work on ~10 hour shifts, delivering to 10+ customers per day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old; meet state licensing requirements.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers; answers questions accurately and timely.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensures vehicle safety standards.
• Handles loading/unloading, documents freight and ensures proper signatures on delivery.
• Drives to and delivers orders according to the schedule; unloads and stores products at customer sites.
• Maintains accurate daily hours of service and completes required paperwork.
