Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking regional intermodal truck drivers in the Canton, OH area. You set your own two days off each week, pick a fixed start time, and run mostly newer automatics with about 75% drop-and-hook loads.

The pay includes a weekly average of about $1,654 (~$86,000 per year), mileage pay, stops, detention, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, weekend bonus, and benefits after 30 days, plus PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with valid Class A CDL
• 3+ months verifiable tractor-trailer experience within 6 months 최근

• No major violations in last 3 years
• Pass drug tests as required

Responsibilities

• Operate intermodal containers across OH, MI, IN, KY, IL, WI and IA
• Drive 1,800–2,800 miles per week

What Is Different Here

• Set Days Off: 2 consecutive days of your choice every week (not Saturday and Sunday together)
• Set Start Time: chosen by you and consistent week to week
• Newer Automatics: mid roof Freightliners and Internationals, 2.5 years old on average
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus: first payment after your first dispatch (eligibility terms apply)
• Weekend Bonus: $150 every week
• Mostly Drop and Hook: about 75% of stops

The Pay

• Weekly Average: $1,654, about $86,000 a year
• Mileage: $0.64 per mile to start on Rand McNally miles, around 2,200 miles a week
• Stops: $65 live, $35 drop and hook
• Detention: $20 to $25 per hour after 1 hour
• Extras: $25 hazmat load, $30 reefer load, $20 per hour for layovers and breakdowns (up to 5 hours)
• Training: $250 per day for 1 to 2 weeks, hotel stay included

The Work

• Intermodal containers across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa
• 1,800 to 2,800 miles per week
• 48 hours home every week

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire
• No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in the last 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no major preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years
