Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers seeks an experienced Regional CDL A Driver to cover the GA to OH/IN lanes with no-touch freight and consistent weekly miles. You’ll be home most weekends with a 34-hour reset and operate newer assigned equipment along I-75.

This role emphasizes safety, dependable schedules, and competitive pay of $1,300–$1,500 per week, plus detention and layover incentives. Must have a valid CDL A, clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT and company requirements.

Regional CDL A Driver - Home Weekends - GA - OH Dedicated

Job Type: Driving

Home every weekend. Run a consistent regional route from Georgia to Ohio/Indiana with no-touch freight, approximately 2,100 miles per week, and average weekly earnings of $1,300 to $1,500.

This regional position is built for drivers who want regular home time, predictable lanes, and newer assigned equipment. You'll run loop freight along the I-75 corridor with most loads handled through drop & hook.

Route & Home Time

• Home Saturday & Sunday for a 34-hour reset
• Regional loop freight from Georgia to Ohio/Indiana
• 50 to 60% drop & hook
• 40 to 50% live unload
• Consistent regional operation along the I-75 corridor

Pay

• $1,300 to $1,500 average weekly earnings
• $67,000+ average annual earnings
• Experience-based CPM pay structure
• Additional pay for detention, layover and breakdown

Additional Compensation

• $12.50/hour detention pay after the second hour
• $100/day layover pay
• $100/day breakdown pay

Your CPM rate is based on verifiable driving experience.

Performance-Based CPM Bonus

Earn up to $0.03 additional CPM based on:

• Safety
• Mileage
• Productivity

The bonus begins with the first full month after hire. Drivers must be active OTR company drivers at the time of payout.

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Equipment

You'll operate newer equipment with a permanently assigned truck:

• 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth
• Automatic transmissions
• Permanently assigned equipment
• No slip seating
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months
• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• At least 12 consecutive months of U.S. driving history
• Safe driving record
• Must meet company driving and safety requirements
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Cannot currently be under contract with another carrier
