The 3–5 week training includes 200–250 hours, trainee pay of $850 per week, and a two-day orientation with $300 paid on hire. Afterward, expect higher earnings and steady schedules across Western states.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 120 hours from an accredited truck driving school.
• CDL-A trainees with less than 6 months of recent driving experience are welcome.
• Solid employment history without major unemployment gaps.
• Acceptable MVR and driving record required.
• Must pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug test.
• Must meet all driver qualification and hiring requirements.
• Must be available for day/night driving and weekend work when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete paid training (3–5 weeks) with 200–250 behind-the-wheel hours.
• Operate reefer freight on a Western lane with no-touch freight.
• Follow schedule: 12–14 days on, 2 days off; day/night driving and weekend work.
• Meet freight requirements and safety standards while loading/unloading as needed.
