Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking full-time Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to ensure on-time, damage-free freight delivery and strong customer service. You will operate Class A vehicles, perform pre-trip checks, load/unload, and maintain shipment records to meet DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-A with HazMat and double/triple endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience required.
• Able to read, write and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for DOT compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
