Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring full-time Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and manage the loading, unloading, and transport of freight.

You will maintain accurate shipment records and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery. The role requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with Hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• 21 years or older.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Be familiar with proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Safely and legally operate commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight at the dock with or without assistance.
• Record shipments using bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Maintain compliance records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop professional relations with customers and internal teams.
• Hook and unhook trailers; operate landing gear and fifth wheel as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors; perform other duties as assigned.
