AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking full-time Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver freight with care. You will load/unload cargo, document shipments, and maintain compliance with state and federal rules while serving customers reliably.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers, raise and lower landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
