Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking Northwest Indiana Class A drivers who want to stay close to home with most weekends off. New CDL-A grads train with a mentor, then progress with pay and a path to owner-operator or trainer as you gain experience.

You can earn $1,100 to $1,700 weekly (~$57,200–$88,400 yearly), start at $0.56/mi increasing to $0.65/mi, and drive 1,700–2,400 miles weekly. Stop pay is $15 per stop (excluding first/last) with a monthly bonus and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older.
• New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience.
• Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine screen.

Responsibilities

• OTR lanes out of the Gary area, mostly drop-and-hook with some live work.
• Weekly pay with mileage-based earnings and a monthly bonus.
• Mentor training before solo and a clear path to owner-operator or trainer.

If you want to run and still be home on weekends, this region is built for it. Most drivers are a day from home or less. New CDL-A? You'll train with a mentor first, paid, and there's a monthly bonus and a path to owner-operator or trainer once you're rolling.

What you'll earn

• $1,100 to $1,700 a week, about $57,200 to $88,400 a year
• Starts at $0.56 a mile and climbs with tenure toward $0.65
• 1,700 to 2,400 miles a week
• $15 for each stop except the first and last
• Monthly performance bonus; paid weekly

New to the road?

Your truck

Assigned, take-home, automatic or 10-speed, about 1.5 years old on average, 24/7 dispatch.
