Job summary

American Driver is offering a regional driving role with steady freight and a single planner to keep your route consistent. Pay scales with experience, and most drivers earn $1,400–$1,500 weekly with a guaranteed first 3 months of solo pay after training.

New drivers receive 4–6 weeks of paid training, plus the usual benefits after 30 days on the job. Home weekly with a 34-hour restart and 2,000–2,300 miles per week target.

Qualifications

• 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• 6 months OTR in the past year, or 12+ months somewhere in the last 5 years.
• 21 or older, CDL matching your home state.
• Clean record: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5.
• Drug screening includes hair and urine testing.
• DD214 counts toward qualifications.

Responsibilities

• About 2,000–2,300 miles a week.
• Drop and hook makes up most freight, with some live load and unload.
• Same planner covers the region, so routes aren’t re-explained weekly.
• Day and night shifts, weekends included.
• Home once a week on a 34-hour restart.

Pay & Bonuses

• Mileage pay runs $0.56 to $0.64, scaled to your experience.
• Most drivers land $1,400 to $1,500 weekly.

• $25 extra on any load under 100 miles.

• Same planner covers the whole region, so you're not re-explaining your route every week.
• Day and night shifts both run, weekends included.
• Home once a week on a 34-hour restart; holidays are worked unless it lands on your home week.

What It Takes

• Brand new to trucking? Paid training runs 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, $850 a week guaranteed while you learn, then full solo pay once you're through.
