Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring for Richmond-area Class A drivers to operate OTR lanes staying east of the Mississippi. You’ll train with a paid mentor, then move to full solo pay. Weekend home time is typical, with a steady miles base and a paid training path for new grads.

Expect to drive 1,900–2,300 miles weekly at $0.55–$0.65 per mile, plus $15 per stop after the first. Weekly direct deposit and a practical benefits package follow after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL in your home state, 21 or older.
• New grad (120+ hours) or verifiable experience.
• Acceptable driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair and urine screen.

Responsibilities

• OTR lanes across the eastern states with drop-and-hook and live freight.
• Out about two weeks, then home for your reset.
• Planned loads with day and night dispatch.

Earnings

• $1,200 to $1,700 a week, about $62,400 to $88,400 a year
• $0.55 a mile to start, up $0.01 a year to $0.65
• 1,900 to 2,300 miles a week
• $15 per stop after the first
