Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Truck Driver with a CDL A for Bloomington, IN. You will safely operate commercial vehicles within the yard and on local routes, delivering to customers, unloading, and ensuring paperwork accuracy. DOT compliance, post-trip reports, and equipment checks are essential.

Requirements include a valid CDL A, DOT physical, drug test clearance, and the ability to work up to 60 hours weekly with nights and weekends. The role offers a stable full-time schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug test required.
• Ability to work up to 60 hours per week including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds frequently.
• Strong communication and accuracy with paperwork and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive commercial truck within yard for unloading/loading and deliver to local customers.
• Maintain yard neatness and proper fueling station operation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete DOT logs.
• Secure loads, verify deliveries, obtain customer signatures and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers and warehouse staff as needed.
• Report any unsafe conditions or damaged equipment immediately.
• Assist with unloading at delivery points and return damaged goods when needed.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for trailer movements and inventory control.
