Job summary

SpartanNash Military is seeking a safety-minded CDL A driver at our Bloomington, IN distribution facility. The role involves yard operations, local deliveries, and trailer handling with strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining a clean, organized yard. Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (required).
• One-year minimum CDL A driving experience required.
• Must pass DOT physical examination and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to work up to 60 hours per week including nights and weekends.
• Good communication skills: ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive commercial truck within the transportation yard and deliver products to local customers.
• Maintain yard neatness and ensure fueling station is clean and functional.
• Perform trailer inventory checks and manage trailer movements to loading docks.
• Deliver products, assist unloading, verify delivery accuracy, collect signatures.
• Complete DOT logs and ensure all paperwork is accurate.
