SLB Freightage Inc. is hiring a CDL A Local Flatbed Driver for routes around Bloomington and Columbus, IN. You will deliver finished goods and raw materials to residential and business customers, with home daily schedules and a 6:00 am start.

The role requires safe, reliable performance and compliance with DOT rules. The position offers an hourly wage of $27, typically 40–45 hours weekly with overtime after 40 hours, plus bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Home daily on a local Bloomington/Columbus route

• Deliver to outdoor hard surfaces only; no inside deliveries
• Shift 6:00 am; 8–12 stops per day
• Ensure timely deliveries and safety compliance

SLB Freightage Inc. is hiring CDL A Local Flatbed Drivers in Bloomington/Columbus, IN. SLB Freightage is a third-party delivery service for a large home improvement company. Drivers will be safely delivering finished goods and raw materials for residential and business customers. Drivers are expected to be safety-focused, reliable, and committed to timely deliveries.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $27
• Average hours weekly: 40-45
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Bonuses:
• $2,500 Sign on bonus: $500 paid after 30 days, $1,000 paid after 90 days, $1,000 paid after 6 months
• $2,000 Driver referral bonus: $500 paid after 1 week, $500 paid after 90 days, $1,000 paid after 6 months
• Quarterly safety bonus (no violations or accidents)
• Monthly attendance bonus: $75 - $100
• Holiday pay after 90 days employed
• Paid via direct deposit biweekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Saturday
• Shift: Day shift starting at 6:00 am
• 8-12 stops per day
• Route: Local route around home store in Bloomington IN or Columbus IN
• Level of Touch: Load and unload materials using moffett forklift, load securement using straps, and some shrink wrapping of pallets
• There are no inside deliveries, deliveries will be made to outdoor hard surfaces only

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Moffett forklift experience preferred
• No DUI/DWIs in last 7 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within a commutable distance of either Bloomington or Columbus IN
